Hello everybody. 3 years ago i would have just gone into year 6. This school was the best years of my infant years! Hope your all being good. Be nice to see you all, including the teachers. No-one will know me because I left Tickenham School 65 (yes, 65!) years ago, but I still have very pleasant memories of it (well,most of the time!). I'm pleased to see that it is still going strong.

What a wonderful site. I attended this great school in 1976, Mr Pritchard was the headmaster and Mr Guest lived in the rectory.We had a big celebration when the school turned 100. I now live in Perth Western Australia. I have very fond memories of my days at Tickenham and was fortunate to visit the school with my husband Gary in August 2005, hopefully we will return in the near future for another trip down memory lane. I have read some of your comments and I went to school with Linda Mears.

Hi hope you all had a great summer holiday.

I thought I'd be really crying when I left the school. On the actual day I didn't feel sad because of all the happy things that went on but the next day it actually hit me. I cant believe it. MISSING U LOADZ. but i'll cum back dont worry, u cant get rid of me that easily BIBIBIBI!!!!

Thank you to all of the players that took part in the football games on Thursday. Special thanks go to the players that played in the second game against the Kingshill Y3/4 team, for allowing Kingshill to play with 11 players. This was the first competitive game that a lot of the Kingshill children had played in. All of the players thoroughly enjoyed the game, which was down to the sportsmanship showed by the Tickenham players. I was pleased to see Tickenham play a lot of good football and you certainly had a lot of shots on target. Thank you. Mr Alvey

Thank you on behalf of Kingshill School for another enjoyable game of Tag Rugby. Both teams once again played open running rugby. The basic skills of rugby are in place, which are running with the ball, passing backwards, defensive play, grounding the ball for a try, angled attacking lines, flat defensive lines, retiring when a free pass is awarded and not questioning the referees decisions. Both teams played with excellent sportsmanship. The vocal support for both sides was commendable from both sets of supporters. Thank you for the refreshments after the game. Mr Alvey
